Why Archery?

Archery is a sport that is fun for the entire family, and here at the Calgary Archery Centre, we provide archery products and range services in a family-friendly setting. We cater to all shooting levels from the first-time archer to the most experienced, with a lineup of products and services that are tailored to the archer’s needs and their budget.

Our focus is on archery as a total sport, no matter your interests. Should you want to pursue this great sport as a recreational shooter, bow hunter, traditionalist, target or 3D archer, we have what it takes to assist you in achieving that goal.

Why Are We One of the Largest Archery Lanes and Pro-Shops?

We offer two ranges – on the main level we have distances 10 to 40 yards and our second level is 20 yards. Each range can accommodate up to 30 archers. We also have 16 3D targets permanently and 5,000 square feet of retail space in our pro-shop. Couple all of that with an exceptionally knowledgeable staff and how can we be anything but one of the largest and best archery retailers?

Open Daily with Flexible Evening Hours

We’re located in the Foothills Industrial Park area of Calgary. Our facility is open daily with flexible evening hours. Phone orders for equipment are also welcomed!

Public Announcement

Alan and I began our journey of operating our own Indoor Archery Range and Pro Shop in 1995. We have provided an outlet for the community to experience all aspects of archery for hunting, competition and recreational. There were many 3D and Target tournaments and leagues as well as group bookings for company team building events, schools, girl guides, scouts, birthdays, stag and stagettes and other gatherings.

The success of our company is due to our dedicated patrons, employees and pro staff shooters. We appreciate and thank you for your business and support over the years.

Unfortunately, this part of our journey will be coming to an end. After 20 years, our landlord is not renewing our lease and has decided to pursue another direction for the space. We will have to vacate the premises effective November 30, 2022. Our plan is to have a close-out sale beginning September 15th discounting in-stock items - 10% on bows and up to 20% off archery accessories to start and clear as much inventory as possible. Doors will close around mid-November which will allow us time to dismantle and move any remaining stock and equipment by the end of November.

Gift certificates and shoot passes will no longer be available for purchase.

Effective September 19th, new business hours will be:

Monday - Closed

Tuesday to Friday - 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
